What a wet week we’ve had! We hope your long weekend was enjoyable and hopefully relaxing! This week in Shale we had two new friends join us for portions of the day as they will be starting in our room sometime in the next couple of weeks! We can’t wait to have you!
This week we got messy, well, more than usual! On Tuesday, we created sparkly art exploring different materials including paint and glitter! Outside, we experienced the physical differences between dry sand and wet sand after it rained! We practiced shovelling and pouring, and we noticed that it was more difficult to scoop wet sand compared to the dry, which we enjoyed pouring through containers with holes! We added conditioner to the cornstarch and water in the water table, and although there wasn’t much of a difference in appearance or physical properties, it was still fun to watch the goop run between our fingers!
And today, we had a lovely time singing and dancing during Music with Dawn! We enjoyed clapping our hands and shaking the animal instruments! We are a very musical bunch!
Although it was short, this week was a very exciting one! Have a great weekend and we’ll see you on Monday!
