Sandstone Room is for children 3 years to 4 years old. There can be up to 18 spaces available in Sandstone Room with an educator ratio of 1:8.
In Sandstone, the children are putting into effect their knowledge of the earth. We often see them vocalizing their theories and co-creating new ones with each other. A couple words to describe the children in the classroom are funny, observant and willing. We see this through their parallel and cooperative play with one another. Just like the other classrooms we continually provide a multi model environment that includes a variety of intentional experiences.
