They say children are just like sponges and this is truly what we have been seeing as they explore the grocery store. This week specifically we added the cash register and the children were using money as they scanned their groceries, and they were also giving it to the “shop clerk.” If you listened closely you could hear them making noises as they “scanned” their items. They truly pick up on the littlest details! One of the biggest hits this week involved the green goop! The children were really interested in the texture and continued to describe it as “goopy.” These moments allow us to expand on language development. The next day we stuck some trains in the goop and the children had to use all their strength to get it out! It truly was a challenge. We cant wait to see what we explore next week. Have a wonderful weekend!
