Another great week in Shale has come to an end and there have been even more exciting changes! We are super pleased to welcome Cassi into our Shale Family! Your creativity and enthusiasm are a welcome additions to the room! We also are welcoming Sam for another 3 weeks while she gets to know all about children, and classroom environments to apply it to her schooling from Early Learning and Child Care.

We have been braving the chilly weather we’ve been having and going on walks and experiencing right here in our playspace! This week we took a walk to see the train pass by on 50th St. We noticed that lately our children seem to have an interest in trains so we have been reading train books and we placed a train set in our classroom! Unfortunately, we did not get to see the train, but we will try our luck again on a warmer day!

We also spent some time with our elderly friends at the Manor for an art experience and we had a yummy afternoon snack at the Ottewell Terrace on St. Patrick’s Day! How lucky we are to get to spend time with our friends there!
