This week in sandstone we say goodbye to our student Caylen. We will miss her additions to our imaginary play and hearing her voice reading books daily in our book corner. She added great ideas and insight into what the children’s interests were and built upon them. This week we added some wonder to our room and added lights to our quiet corner and above our lunch table. The children’s response to this was one of curiosity and interest. We also added beaded necklaces to our water table and explored pouring and dumping the water and beads together. We continued to explore moving our bodies and did  yoga in the gym. This time we added a wall sized video to the experience. The children were engaged and copied the woman on the video as we explored bringing a Dino to the dentist. Have a great weekend!
