This week has been an exciting one! The children have been so engaged! The children have continued our exploration of construction with the introduction to blue prints, and creating our own. The children have also constructed our own cars with corks, pipe cleaners and wooden spools. They have also created their own construction site in the outdoor play space with Emily and some of the other facilitating teachers. Many of the older children joined in, and worked hard building and deconstructing their creations. The children (and the teachers as well) got enjoy our own self constructed spray park! The children all enjoyed the sprinkler, slip and slide, a self-made pool, and a giant water bag! What a fun way to stay cool! The Quartz children even got to enjoy a small walk to start to get to know the neighbourhood.
