This week in shale: We have continued on with our exploration with in and out. We explored in and out of boxes with different loose materials hiding in them. From puppets, to sheets to watching balloons float in our net, we were excited and filled with wonder. This week we were able to spend lots of time with the seniors! We read books at the manor on Tuesday where we had four friends join us! We enjoyed reading Pete the cat, and the pout pout fish!  On Wednesday some of our friends explored the in and out process of smoothies with the seniors! We watched the fruit, milk and yogurt go into the blender, with a loud noise and out with a pour came our delicious smoothies! YUM YUM! All of our friends enjoyed painting a master piece with white paint on black paper with sponges!  We also enjoyed watching and exploring an eruption with baking soda and vinegar! WOW!  This week we said goodbye to our friend Adler as she starts her new journey in Quartz! We will miss you! We also welcomed two new friends,  James and Libby! WELCOME! We are so excited for you to join our shale family and to watch you learn and grow! On Friday we enjoyed music with Dawn! We will be welcoming a MacEwan student next week and have her come back for four weeks in March. We look forward to getting to know her. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!
