Wow, what a fun week in shale!

We welcomed another two new friends to our shale room family, Felix and Kane! They are doing wonderful in our little group of friends!

We spent a lot of our time outside this week even during the rain fall! We danced and jumped in puddles and got so so wet, it was so much fun. We did coloring with markers and crayons, we played and explored with flubber and lots of water play. A group of us got to go over to the seniors and do some art with them and they made us some beautiful pictures to bring back to our centre and for our other friends who did not get to join this week. We walked to the Ottewell park and enjoyed swinging in the swings, climbing up the stairs, sliding down the slides, mixing water and sand together and some of us even got wet with the splash pad! We have a small group of friends who will be moving to quartz room soon and these friends are doing such a great job practicing drinking from big cups with no lids, they are starting to scrap their own plates in our scrap bucket after we are finished eating and walking during outings instead of riding in the strollers but they are enjoying helping us push the strollers instead!!
