Sandstone has been busy exploring sensory play this week and working on our gross motor. In our sand table we used funnels to direct the sand onto our shovels, into pails, or into tubing. We would pile the sand up on the top of the stand and then push it over the side, watching as is rained down into the bin. We made a trip to the park but this time we went to the “big side”. This side had many challenges for us to overcome. We practiced pulling our bodies up on the monkey bars, we claimed on the big wall all the way to the top, we also climbed up the slide! Another physical challange for us was pushing the big mary-go-round. It took a few of us to even get it moving, and when it was spinning we had to run to keep up. On Friday we went for a walk, there was so many puddles to jump in! We have enjoyed exploring the ground out side in this cooler wether. On our walks we have noticed worms on the sidewalk, lady bugs in the trees and the ever fun ooie gooie mud! Hope you have a great week like we have, we will see you on Monday!
