What a week we have had! It has been filled with more liqiud substance exploration; we have continued to experiment with moving water. We set up a ramp with open tubes and watched the water rush down. When we poured more water, the bigger the splash was at the end! We also experimented with paint this week. Different textures of paint, how it could be sprayed, how it can drip, and how it can be spread. We as always have enjoyed the messy work we do! This week we went to share our exploration of painting with the seniors. We painted with water colours and practised the process of dipping the brush in water, dabbing on a towel then swerling our brush in the paint. The more we swerled the brighter the colour! We shared our fun movement song of “jumping bean” with the seniors, and some of them showed us how to skip! Next week we welcome back Erin, we hope your time in Mexico was fantastic! We will also be welcoming a Grant MacEwan student to our room. This student will spend the week getting to know the children and then be back in March for a four week block. Have an excellent weekend!
