With this wonderful weather Quartz room has been spending as much time as possible outside! From sliding on the ice, to going to the park on Friday, Quartz room as been exploring nature as much as possible.

Within our classroom we have strung twinkle lights across the classroom, furthering our interest in lights and shadows. Cassi has brought out new felt stories for our morning meetings, including The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Five Green and Speckled Frogs and Baba Black Sheep. We have also been very busy with building, either with Duplo blocks, Sticklo Bricks or the hollow blocks. Quartz has been very busy this past week and we will continue our interest of light;  next week we introduce shadows through the windows in our classroom.
