This week in sandstone we explored the changing leaves. We brought them into our room and painted them, put them in the water table, and found many new and exciting ways to play with them. We also went to the hill at the park again but this time we brought balls. The children had fun rolling them down the hill, then rolling down after them.

We are sad to see Arthur, Carter, Philippe, and Tanner leave our room to go on new adventures at their new schools or to spend time with their new siblings. We welcome Haddie, Cohen, and Clara to our room in the next week. We will also have a new student from Grant MacEwan coming to observe for one week, then will be back in November.

Please continue to bring family pictures as we are still making a family board. As well, next week we encourage parents to trace their hands for a craft the children will be doing later in the week. We will have paper and pencils ready for you!
