Such busy friends we are in Quartz room! We have many new interests in the room, therefore we have been doing many experiences in order to narrow down what the next big idea is going to be. We have done lots of “food” play in the house centre, such as grocery shopping, cooking dinner, and dressing up! In the art area, we have explored colouring in coffee filters with scented markers as well as water colour paints, painting with q-tips to enhance our fine motor skills, as well as painting with sensory balls and water colours to discover shapes on our papers! We have also done many sensory experiences with shaving cream, magnets and our sensory bottles. We have been enjoying the fall weather and it’s semi-warm temperatures. With that, a reminder to ensure your child has weather appropriate clothing, as the mornings are cooler, and we do go outside every day.
