My oh my! This week in Quartz has just flown by! We have been so busy with so many experiences this week I can’t believe it’s Friday!
With our big idea of movement, we’ve been going right along with it! Watching the water spread across the paper after it’s been poured out on the table, our friends jump from tires, as well as flapping the parachute outside in the wind.
Music has also been a very important part in our classroom, we’ve been listening to songs such as The Witch Doctor, Grease Lightening and the Ghost Buster Theme Song – play the songs at home and you’ll see some of our wicked awesome dance moves! You might even be told that Michelle was dancing up a storm with everyone!
If you’ve have had an extra helping hand in the kitchen, that would be because of the sudden interest in cooking/baking in the kitchen! We’ve been using water as our medium to make muffins, pancakes and spaghetti. We also used shaving cream with sparkles to make ice cream in small cups – that was so much fun. Next week we will discuss what food we would like to try making; spaghetti or mini pizzas! We also might even dabble in making ice cream again!
Bekah has started a three day process art, starting Thursday with white on white paper/canvas, moving to orange on top of the white moving to a surprise colour on Monday!
Tuesday will be our splash park day(weather permitting), please remember a bathing suit and labelled towel!
