WOW! We did our first day of programming with the seniors involved and it was great! It was good to finally have some collaboration and for them to visit our site! They had the luxury of joining in for music with Dawn! We also enjoyed exploring and sorting out all our lego. This really allowed the children to analyze the pieces and figure out which basket should have what color. They also were able to create masterpieces in a defined space like the frame. Lastly, we really expanded on our gross motor skills and raced outside, and we realized they were super fast. We think someone should time us next week! Maybe we can race the parents in the near future! Stay tuned to learn more about rough and tumble play with an article next week!
