What a busy week it has been. We have been busy exploring our changing Jasper room and talking about where we all fit in. There has been a lot of discussions between new and old friends about likes and dislikes to try and find common ground to play and explore! We had fun finding out everyone’s favourite thing about themselves by group discussion and art. We have displayed them on our Wall of Identity and our self portraits will be coming soon. We also got to take an adventure together, going on a visit to the seniors building. All of the kids were very excited to meet all of our neighbours and visit their home. We will definitely be going back to see them soon! We got to welcome our new Jasper room teacher Neha on Monday and an old friend Sebastien on Tuesday. Neha has been busy cultivating relationships with everyone in our room and the kids are fond of her already. Sebastien is right back into routine after a summer off! Sadly we had to say see you later to some of our friends. We will miss our friends Norah, Lauren, Emily, Amelia, and Harrison as they start their journey to kindergarten. We also got to wish teacher Alix and teacher Morgan a safe trip as they both take adventures over seas! We look so forward to talking with teacher Alix and teacher Kaitlin every week to follow along their adventures as they backpack Europe together.
