This week in Shale we have welcomed six new friends. It has been a very exiting week for all the children to meet so many new faces. This week we have noticed a new interest in the children, and that is sounds. We like anything that makes noise, which shakes, raddles and pops. If you have any empty tissue boxes or paper towel rolls that would be greatly appreciated, we love using recycled materials for art experiences. We went on two community walks this week; we took advantage of the last few days of nice weather. Friday we enjoyed going to music with Dawn in the rec room. We learned new songs and played with shakers, we all shook them to the beat. Next week we will be exploring what our voice sounds like in paper towel tubs and elastic band guitars.
Our song of the week is:
If your happy and you know it clap your hands X2
If your happy and you know it and you really want to show it if your happy and you know it clap your hands
If your excited and you know it shout hooray X2
If your excited and you know it and you really want to show it if your excited and you know it shout hooray
If your sad and you know it cry boo hoo X2
If your sad and you know it and you really want to show it if you sad and you know it cry boo hoo
If your mad and you know it stomp your feet X2
If your mad and you know it and you really want to show it if your mad and you know it stomp your feet
Have a wonderful weekend!!
