This week in sandstone was a busy one! The children have been having lots of fun playing outside. We went on two walks this week and have been playing in the back yard in the snow. The children like to make snow angels, tracks, and snow piles. The sandstone children even tried snowboarding this week! Jasper room had brought out the long building boards and made a track to for the boards to slide down on. Later on in the week Michelle brought her snowboard from home and we got to test out the real snowboard. On Thursday we set up an obstacle course, the children had to walk across a bench then a foam mat, crawl under a table, and jump off a stool all while holding a bean bag on their body. This took great balancing skills to complete!!! On Friday we finished off our week with an inside day; it was just to cold to go outside, we played in the gym, made flubber, and went for a walk through Ottewell Lodge. Yesturday the children talked all day about the party they were going to that night!
