Happy Valentine’s Day! Today in sandstone, we are so excited to be celebrating the day with pyjama day! We are looking forward to decorating and eating the cookies that were brought for us! We are also going to be eating pudding and drinking juice boxes in our pj’s. What a day! This week we have continued exploring sea adventures. Check out all of the sea animals we made with Sue that are up on our wall! We have all been pretending to be different animals, fish, penguins, turtles, and everything else. We have been spending a lot of our time inside because of the chilly weather, but yesterday we had so much fun being able to go outside again! We explored the mountains behind our outdoor plays pace and used our gross motor muscles to climb up, up, up to the top of the mountains. We have been noticing the children are beginning to have an interest in maps and using maps to travel around, so Beri has something exciting planned for next week with maps! Finally, we had a great time making special sand dough with Kiera! We discussed how the sand we mixed into the dough was like the sand that you find at the beach while we played with this sensory experience!
