Well yet another great week in Quartz room! We would like to say welcome to Shelby, our student teacher from Grant MacEwan. The children enjoy having her around:) She has joined us this week to build relationships with the children, but will be leaving for a short while. She will be joining us again for her 4 week block in April. We look forward to seeing what you have to offer Quartz room and Primrose!

We are still continuing our exploration on ” who am I?” and are now expanding within our room, our ‘daycare family’ and what it means to be part of Quartz room as a family unit. The children have really begun to express their emotions towards each other, be it verbally or physically, and it makes us proud as teachers to see how empathetic and attached they are to one another.
