What an interesting week in weather! Practically summer to winter and spring all over! We have watched the clouds, snow rain and sunshine all week! As well, an amazing week in discovery and learning. Emily and Jen have been exploring a colour inquiry project with the children. So far they have explored the colour green: blue and yellow make green! Look at the documentation in the hall; the children had the opportunity to explore green in different mediums.  The children have been identifying objects and materials that are blue, yellow and green in the room and on their bodies. The children have also explored colours through painting, colouring with pastels, crayons, and markers on different textures of papers. We have also been exploring a little bit of building with materials like Duplo, hollow blocks and logs.

Quartz would also like to welcome our new friends Isla and Mason to the room! We look forward to getting to know their wonderful personalities and help them grow and develop during their time with us 🙂 Have a wonderful long weekend!
