We missed teachers Morgan and Marisa this week in Jasper room, but it didn’t stop us from continuing on our Prehistoric adventures. We started exploring trees! Slowly we have started making our 3D family tree, which you can find in the far corner of the room. We also have been taking interest in going to “the trees” during our outside time. It’s just a small field close by with a bunch of amazing climbing trees. It’s great to watch the children as the days pass because they’re becoming more confident with their climbing skills! Paulina has introduced building as a big idea and this week she has pulled focus towards Birds and how they build their homes. Some of our Jasper friends got to build their own bird’s nest out of loose materials and glue. We also got to explore the texture and scent and malleability of bird feed in the water table! We’re excited to see what the Family Tree will end up looking like! Happy Easter and have a great long weekend.
