Brrrr! Its been a chilly week. Due to the cold weather we have stayed inside a fair bit, which has given us a chance to explore some new idea and interests. We have been trying out experiences that promote fine motor skills through activities such as painting with cotton balls and clothes pins, we explored the cold snow inside the water table and added coloured water to watch the snow change colour, and began exploring shapes through matching and identifying the shapes with our every day toys. Interests in dinosaurs and cars have began to expand; we have also been interested in the mixing of colours. Such a busy week! We would also like to welcome back our Grant MacEwan student Sara! We are happy to have her back and help her learn and grow.
Have a great weekend and stay warm!
