What a week, the countdown to the holidays are on in the Jasper room as many of our friends are getting excited! This was our last full week before the holidays and we had a lot of loose ends to tie up. We finally ended our Waterfall project and our learning journey is documented in the hallway for all to see! Please take the time to read it when passing by. Our Jasper friends really invested a lot of their time and energy into it and would love to continue the discussion at home. Another thing we did was introduce a new boot rack. As the snow blows in, water has been tracking into our classroom and into our cubbies, this has caused an awful smell to emerge. To solve this problem, we now have a boot rack near the play yard door where your child’s outside boots will go. Their inside shoes will stay in their white buckets at the bottom of their cubby. Hopefully this helps diminish the smell of wet boots! We also got to help celebrate the holiday season on Thursday night at our “Do You Wanna Build a Snowman” party. Our Primrose Resource Center put together another amazing event that all of the families really enjoyed. We are so lucky to have such an amazing community connection around us!
In the next two weeks, Sarah and Neha will be away until January 4th and during that time Alix, Sue and Whitney will be supporting jasper room.
Have a fantastic weekend!
