This first week in April went by so quickly in Shale! We had a lot of fun and excitement learning together this week! The weather has kept us on our toes as we have had snow, wind, and sunshine, but this is perfect for our new main concept, Transformation! We went on a walk on that windy day and blew bubbles in an open field and watched as they flew wildly across the grass and into the sky! We have learned new words like, “windy”, “sunny”, and “muddy”! We are also going to watch the transformation of a plant from a seed to a beautiful flower!
This week we experienced the sensation of water beads in our water table set up by our student teacher, Sam! It was a popular attraction and the children were very engaged! She also created a magical playspace and decorated it so beautifully that even children from the older rooms wanted to play inside!
This is Sam’s last week with us, and we want to say a big thank you to her for doing a fantastic job in our room! We will miss you dearly and we wish you all the best with your education and your professional career! Keep up the great work, Sam!
Have a great weekend and we’ll see you hopefully at the silent auction on Saturday!!! Help us raise money for the daycare!
