This week in shale we welcomed 4 new friends to our classroom, Soren, Sam, Kate and Eleanor! We are so excited to meet you and to have you join our wonderful group of friends. Through the week we did a lot of exploring with sensory, we explored shaving cream, painted with Lego, glued with pool noodle pieces and added googly eyes, we stuck different size tissue paper shapes to mac tac and added stickers as well.

We painted on construction paper then we folded the paper in half making different paint designs and to see what would happen. This helped with our interest and exploration of Transformation.  We also played with cars and ramps by setting up a couple gutters and allowing the children to explore how the cars will go down the ramp the fastest, they learnt quickly that it’s best to go down on the tires not on the roof 🙂 We also went on a few nice walks and saw butterflies and some bunnies. With the hot weather we did a lot of water play as well scooping and pouring the water, adding bubbles, food coloring and even cars!
