It’s beginning to look a lot like SPRING!! The weather is starting to be absolutely beautiful outside and in Sandstone, we have been taking full advantage of it! This past week, we have spent as much time as possible outside, making sure we stay out of all of the puddles so that we stay dry. We have been continuing looking at jungle adventures and we have spent quite a bit of time learning about snakes. We used rolling pins that were covered in bubble wrap and paint to make snake print paintings. We also had snakes in the sensory table with different colours of water beads that we pretended were baby snake eggs! We also used jungle action cards during our meeting time! Beri would hold up an action card that would say something like “slither like a snake” or “roar like a lion” and we would have to do what the cards say! We had so much fun acting out different jungle animals!
