This week in Sandstone we have been working on continuing to explore cause and effect through art.  We started a painting project on Tuesday with blue, red and white. We mixed these colours together and watched what it turned into. The next day we painted on top of that purple painting with all the primary colour and more mixing happened! What else could we add to this to transform the piece of art? Glue and feathers! We have added many other loose parts to this painting. We wanted to try this with a different texture and shape. We worked on some cardboard boxes with painting and loose parts. As the weather gets colder and colder we are wondering when the snow will come? Hopefully soon so we can have some fun in the snow! Next week we will be expanding on science experiences that use lots of cause and effect. We may learn some new words like observation, hypothesis and transformation!

On Friday we had a great time showing off our Halloween costumes to our friends and to the seniors.
