Its been a fun filled week in Sandstone. We have experienced some changes when it comes to our Sandstone community , with old friends leaving and new friends joining us, we are all excited for this new adventure we are about to embark on together. It will be great to observe the interactions occurring within the next few weeks to discover what interests our new friends want to explore. We have already discovered that some friends are in structured play through which they personify the aspect of role playing, while other friends have been letting their imaginations run wild and creating different play environments within the room. Overall, the children seem to be coping and adjusting to the new changes very well!
We have also been very active outside this week! At the back of the building, we were playing hide-and-seek and testing our physical limits in foot races! We played “Picking Up Pom-Poms” and sang nursery rhymes. Elliot brought his favourite books outside and we sat and read under the tree! Once when we were sitting under the tree we saw something fall. We looked up and saw a mommy or daddy bird feeding their baby, and apparently this baby bird is a very messy eater! It was exciting to watch nature right in our backyard!
Stay tuned to see what new adventured we partake in next week.
Have a great weekend, and we’ll see you on Monday!
