This week in Sandstone, we have been missing Kaitlin who’s spent the week in Mexico but we’re excited for her to be back on Monday! As we are getting closer to the big move, we have been busy packing up and we have been discovering new, creative ways to play! We have been spending a lot of our time outside, please remember to send hats for your children as the weather gets hotter! We really enjoyed finding bugs that were frozen in giant ice blocks! We watched as the ice melted and tried to get the bugs out. We also explored the classic experience of mixing baking soda and colour! We used eye droppers to drip coloured vinegar into the white baking soda and watched it bubble away! We wondered what would happen if we poured them together and stirred them with the eye dropper. We discovered that it continued to bubble away! What an exciting experience! Just a reminder, as we get closer to the move, please remember to empty your child’s locker out. The white binders can stay, but everything else will need to be taken out of the lockers so that we can take them to our new centre. Thank you!
