Greeting from Sandstone! We hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend. This week we welcomed another new child, Lucas and our final Sandstone team member Julia. We were very busy in sandstone this week. We went on two long walks Wednesday and Friday, we even got to play at the Ottewell Park at the end of our walk on Friday. The children have had lots of fun playing in our sand table and building sand castles. We have also been having fun playing in shaving cream and ooblick this week. The first time we tested it out was a great success and we had so much fun that we had to do it again! Thursday morning there was a wonderful surprise waiting for us Jen had set up our own robot building table, we used different types of picture frames to create our robots in and had many materials to build with such as; large washers, small wood pieces, popsicle sticks, bolts, and top of cans. It was lots of fun. To end our week we coloured underneath the table just like Michelangelo. If you could bring one or two photos in of your family we will create a family tree, binder, or photo wall for the classroom. Have a wonderful weekend and we will see you on Monday.
