HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed time with your families! With the new year in mind, we would like to officially welcome Estella, Evelyn, Isla and Norah into Quartz! We are very excited to have our new friends join us and look forward to what they can contribute to our little community in the room.

Having new friends means a new big idea and interest. We are doing some provocations to discover what the big interest is in the room so we can build upon on it. As well, we will be starting small group projects! We are excited to get started! You may have noticed we switched our room around to accommodate our new friends and create more defined spaces. We are hoping with the change and provocations, we will be able to discover an interest and begin a new learning journey! Some of the children’s favorite moments this week were going outside and watching it snow! The children seemed to really have loved the outdoors this week. Another experience the children are really striving in is developing their fine motor skills by using different materials like crayons, chalk, and markers.
