This week is full of goodbyes, today we have a couple friends leaving our Quartz room family. First, we say goodbye to Ellie, we will miss you so much, your amazing smile and infectious laugh. We wish you and your family good luck and are so excited to hear about your new addition to the family! Also, Goodbye to Erin, we are all going to miss you so much! All your spontaneous dance parties, the amazing way you lead circle time and the way you attract the children’s attention by using your loud voices haha we are very excited for this new adventure of yours and wish you all the luck! On that note, we would like to officially welcome Carlei (car-lay) to Quartz, she is a recent graduate from Grant MacEwan University and we can’t wait to see what new ideas she’s going to bring to the classroom, welcome! In regards to planning and activities this week, we have started to change our focus from cause and effect to construction. We have been putting out simple provocations during the week to see if it sparks an interest in the children, and so far they seem to be really enjoying it. They especially enjoy dressing up with the hard hats and vests. We hope you have a great weekend and hopefully the sun will come out!
