This week in Quartz room has been an exciting one! From problem solving to trying new things, we have been through so many experiences! And with Kerry on holidays, Emily has been in our room to help us on our adventures.
We explored different materials and objects in the sand box, made exploding paint bags with Bekah ( more than once too!), and challenged our gross motor skills by pushing and pulling the wagons in our place space; both empty and full. We have done lots of different painting experiences, such as painting with the sensory balls, traces lines on paper, and puff paint!
Michelle and a group of children went on a walk with Erin and some of her friends from Sandstone room. We are getting so good at walking together!:) Bekah brought in some avocados for the children to try. They really liked it! The children described it as slimy, smooth and slippery. The children also made coconut ice cream! They got to pour, squish and shake their ice cream bags.
Have a wonderful weekend all!
From Bekah, Emily and Michelle:)
