This past week we have expanded our concept of trajectory in terms of initiating more experiences geared toward fine motor skills. On Monday, our new primrose educator Emily got to spend the day with us, it was lovely getting to know her. On Tuesday we had our first inter-generational experience with Quartz room, some of our friends joined in a co-learning experience to formulate a plan of action to build a real live birds nest with our younger friends. It was great to see how our Jasper friends were so patient and took responsibility in helping our Quartz friends in coming up with ideas on how to construct the nest. On Wednesday with it being so nice and sunny outside, we decided that we would venture out into the neighbourhood and once again visit the green patch near Taylor’s grandmas house. There we explored the thick bush more, played a game of soccer, explored tree sap and played with animals in the forest. As the week winded down, so did the weather, with the rains that followed, we had some fun splashing in the giant puddles that covered our yard, as well as enjoying some delicious food at the indoor barbecue. Just a reminder that we are closed on Monday so we hope you all have a wonderful long weekend!
