This past week in Jasper Room, our friends welcomed our new friend Margarita, a student teacher from Grant MacEwan. We are all excited to have her join us for 5 weeks and learn along with us. As the weather changed we noticed that all the leaves had fallen from the big tree in our play yard so our friends decided that it would be a great time to rake all the leaves into huge piles in which they could jump around in. Our friends are also enjoying the fall season by continuing to go on our daily walks to the Big Muddy as well as discovering a secret park in the Ottewell Community. On Thursday we had a special guest, our sandstone friend Renata’s dad ( a pharmacist) gave a talk to our Jasper friends about medicine safety. Our friends listened as he explained all about asking an adult before taking any kind of medicine so that our friends can stay safe. Lastly we would like to remind all our friends that as the weather keeps getting colder to bring our jackets, mittens and toques and outdoor shoes so that all our friends can stay nice and warm on our adventures in the community. Hope you all have a fantastic thanksgiving long weekend! See you all on Tuesday 🙂
