This week in Sandstone, we have continued on our exploration of moving and towing! We started off by looking at different pictures of tires during morning meeting. Beri asked Sandstone, “What are these tires from?” We learned that tires can look different on all types of different vehicles and transporters. On Wednesday, we went outside to the field behind the daycare and we used our very own carwash made out of cardboard to wash our cars! We had lots of fun driving our cars through the Sandstone Car Wash. We even went through with our bodies to give them a cleaning, too! In morning meeting this week, we have been learning some new songs about construction and how we can relate that to moving and towing. Sandstone’s favorite is called “Johnny’s Hammers”. The words and actions are posted below. Feel free to sing along with your children and have them show you how it goes!
