Colour Bonanza

This week in Sandstone we have continued to look at colour and how it changes everything that we see. We have used many different mediums to experiment with colour. Our first experience this week focused on using whisks to stir and mix food colouring into our water table we also added soap it was great having coloured bubbles! We also created a song to sing when we are mixing colours; “This is the way we mix the colour, mix the colour, mix the colour; this is the way we mix the colour in Sandstone Room.” We are planning to have a celebration of each colour, at the end of these celebrations we will have a “Rainbow Day” Celebration. We will be posting the dates of these celebrations within this next week.

This week we also tried to walk to our temporary centre, we were so close! Hopefully, next time we will make it!
