This week in sandstone……
We continued to explore colour in fun and exciting ways. Emily went to the library and borrowed a large variety of books all related to colour. We have been lucky to read many new and exciting stories. One of the favorites is Mouse Paint, this story explores mixing primary colors to make secondary colors!
You might have noticed the coloured jars we had set up in our science area…… Well we expanded our jars and made new colours by mixing. We were amazed to see how we can put two different colours together to make one new colour. Our favourite colour was the purple jar. We also added many fun and exciting materials to our art area. We were able to make many beautiful creations with our new supplies. Finally we played with “red” cups. We created wonderful towers, bridges, buildings, and even music. We could not believe how much fun we all had with these cups. The possibilities were endless…… sorting, stacking, resorting, and restacking. Check out the documentation in the classroom!
Have a wonderful weekend 🙂 We are very excited to welcome Kinley into Sandstone classroom!
