“Your in my space!” Is a well developed interest and common language that is being developed in the Sandstone classroom. This is helping children understand that we all have our own personal space, and some friends need more space. One of our classroom projects this week is that we all created our own space on a hallway sized paper! It was very interesting the way each child used different sizes of space, and how they defined it. OUR FAVORITE MOMENT THIS WEEK WAS SURPRISED BY A FORT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CLASSROOM. We even had the opportunity to had morning snack under the table. The children exclaimed ” This is soooo cool” This also allow us to explore different spaces in our environment. One other thing we have been doing is making obstacle courses! Don’t miss out on our obstacle course, PJ extravaganza on Thursday, April.17! We will be displaying our spaces, have an obstacle course and treats provided! Look forward to seeing you all at the gathering! 3:30 – 5:00.
