Such a sensory week we’ve had! We have explored different materials in the sand table, such as pots and pans, buckets, and animals! We have also explored conditioner with glitter and jewels, pouring and filling buckets with different coloured water and other materials and a new concept, buckets with holes! Why won’t the water stay inside? What can we do to fill it to the top? Some things we can think about and explore further next week! We even did a science experiment with coloured vinegar and baking soda! Bubbles! A group of children went for a walk to the splash park area with Sandstone friends! Such a long walk! We have also enjoyed playing in the wet sand in the outdoor playspace and discovering the properties of wet sand and how it “sticks” together. We enjoyed building and crushing sand castles!
Enjoy the weekend!
