Last week in sandstone we continued to explore change, especially in our butterflies. We have noticed that they are BIGGER and have started to slowly build their chrysalis. We are patiently waiting to see the beautiful butterflies. Some of us are wondering how long will it take. We have guessed 1 day to 3 weeks. Who will be the closest?

We also have been using our imaginations to create our own butterflies… we have made string and paint butterflies along with coffee filter butterflies.

New to our room we have created a science area. In this area we are able to explore our senses and have added lots of loose materials to promote our inner scientists. This area uses skills like observation, hypothesis and record and compare. Come check it out!
