Jasper room children are showing a huge interest in ramps! They make ramps out of various materials such as blocks and boards. We have encouraged their interests in ramps by adding new materials. Through trial and error the children are exploring:
- Will the cube roll down the ramp or will it slide down the ramp?
- How can we make the cars go faster down the ramp?”
- Which ball will roll the farthest?
The children have also started moving objects up the ramp. We are exploring what everyday places or things do we use in our lives that have ramps.
