We had some really fantastic weather this week so we spent a lot of time outside. The spray park across the street is always a fun way to cool off in the heat so we went there two days in a row! We really love to stand under the buckets as the dump on our heads, soaking us from head to toe. We also spent an entire morning exploring the hills. We like to run races, roll down the hill and, of course, search for fossils! Inside we created a dinosaur oasis in the water table using sand, dinosaurs, plants and water. It’s such an exciting sensory experience to feel the wet sand squishing through our fingers as the dinosaurs swim in their lake. To finish off this short week we decided to walk to the store for a special treat. This morning we invited Sandstone to join us and we all walked to get slurpies! On our walk we saw our new center being built. It has come a long way since the beginning of the year. We can’t wait for spring so we can see how it looks under those big tarps!
