This week in Jasper Room, we embraced our Canadian roots by going outside in this snowy weather. We worked together to shovel a large pile of snow and took turns jumping in it! We also sparked our interest in space, by reading “How to Catch a Star” by Oliver Jeffers. We made footprints on the moon with grey clay, and we drew pictures of planets and rocket ships. We also caught stars with fishing hooks in our “moon table” (Water table with moon sand and flour). We can’t wait to see where our Jasper Room rocket ship will take us next! Last but not least, we have a new friend joining us at morning meeting and circle time – Listening Lucy!!!
Have a wonderful weekend!!
