Spring has definitely arrived and we have gone outside everyday to enjoy it. The children are most certainly having fun in the big puddles and getting soaking wet! We have also discovered that our backyard “Camel” is slowing disappearing from the warm weather. We will be saying goodbye to our friend and looking forward to meeting him again next winter.
The children have shown tons of interest in building. On a daily basis the children are exploring their fine motor and gross motor development by building with small table blocks as well as large block in the block corner. We are looking forward to furthering this interest next week as we start using various materials other than wood blocks to build with. Cardboard, sandpaper, metal, plastics, and etc. If you have anything you would like to donate to the Jasper Class room that you think would facilitate this building interest, please feel free to drop it off in the classroom. 🙂
