Zooooooom goes Sandstone friends as they race around the classroom with their hockey sticks shouting “Go Oilers Go” then Jacob joins in shouting “Go Flames Go!” You can see and hear the excitement of the soundstone crowd that the Oilers and Flames are in the playoffs! We enjoy sports in Sandstone. We’ve been exploring with many different kinds of balls outside as we embrace this spring weather. We throw balls, bounce balls, kick balls, and pass balls to each other. We even took out the parachute and waved it up and down as the balls were on top. It made as laugh as the balls flew up in the air. Our favourite activity is racing for the balls! We aren’t afraid of a little bit of friendly competition as it allows us to take risks and push ourselves out of our comfort zones.
We have also been getting to know more and more about the season of spring. We’ve been planting flowers in the sand table, seeing the rain outside, splashing in the mud, making mud pies, and finding bugs! We enjoy exploring outside during this wonderful season.
This week went by so fast as it’s a long weekend. We will be closed tomorrow for Good Friday but we will be open on Monday.
Enjoy your long weekend with family and friends and we will see you on Monday!
