With the quick rise and fall of the interest of “who am I?”, we have taken off to new ideas of interest in which to pursue: connecting and disconnecting, opposites, and movement. We(the teachers) have been doing provocations for these ideas to see which would be best to pursue for a long period of time. We have explored loose materials, played with temperatures, both inside and outside, and utilized our bodies in new ways to explore gross motor movement. We have also been enjoying the beginning of winter with the brief snow falls. It’s exciting to watch the little flakes drift amongst the wind and ground. With this, we will be practicing putting on our winter gear, so it is encouraged to bring snow pants, winter coats, winter boots, gloves, and toques so we can get accustomed to the clunky,chunky clothes.

We would like to encourage family photos to keep coming! We are still building on our family tree, and would like to continue expanding it. We will also be adding a photo album for the children to look at on their own time. Have a wonderful weekend!
