We started off the week by painting with horse hair. It was the strangest feeling and provided a new sensory experience with paint! We also had the opportunity to bring in some new BIG duplo blocks, this allows us to build big towers and explore in and out.

Favorite moment: Baking Cookies and muffins. Cooking with children is an essential experience that provides many different developmental outcomes. While cooking you explore math concepts – first we add the butter, second we stir the ingredients. This allows the children to follow an order, and start to learn about sequence. Second of all there is science concepts that start to happen like making an observation of what the ingredients look like, how they will turn out and talk about different consistencies like thick and thin!

Our happy happy Friday ended with a pool party! The children loved being able to go in and splash, swim and just let loose!
