We enjoyed the outdoor breeze by exploring the hills. We have now mastered the skill of log rolling! Through this experience we have learned about momentum, and depth.
The children are now taking their experience on paper with crayons and are making the connection to their real experiences and telling stories of something that has happened. We are looking forward to explore rolling and learning different concepts like… 360, motion, velocity, momentum, distance, and measuring. This big idea seems like we will be exploring lots of math concepts but life is funny, and we are on a roll!
We’ve also been working on identifying boundaries and letting friends know when they are in their space.
Encourage your children to use their words and let them know when there is something wrong, or if they are in your space. “Stop, I don’t like it.”
Or asking “Can I come in your space?” Let them know so we can create continuity and consistency in the home and at school.
